Echoes and Horizons
An exhibition by Starlight Stern
This exhibition brings together portraits and landscapes that reflect moments of stillness, transition, and quiet connection. Each image is part of a personal journey — shaped by emotion, shaped by place — and offers a glimpse into the in-between: where memory meets longing, where presence meets possibility.
Rather than offering conclusions, Echoes and Horizons invites you to pause, to sense, and perhaps to find something familiar in the unknown.
Starlight’s art invites you to let yourself drift, to sit down, to marvel and to reflect. It is a mixture of landscape and portrait photography. And each individual piece offers its own appeal to be examined more closely. It’s available to see and explore until the end of October 2025.
Starlight’s Biography
I’ve been in Second Life since 2007 – with breaks – often as an observer, sometimes as a creator, always as a seeker. I took pictures in SL before, but it wasn’t until 2024 that I began to explore photography more intentionally – focusing on light, space, and atmosphere.
What fascinates me is the quiet in-between: moods that unfold in stillness, in shadow, in suggestion.
Through post-processing in Photoshop, my images become what they are meant to be: fragments of memory, inner landscapes, silent stories.

Memories
The opening party was held on Sunday, Sept. 14th where Tom & I, aka LiTo DJ Team spinned some melodical, Indie & Alternative Tunes, that underlined their art. Starlight and we welcomed all the guests and I would say, it was a lovely and familar opening party.

About „Samum in Wonderland Chapter III“:
This exhibition shows mixed media works by Samum and two of her featured friends, who inspire and share their creativity and knowledge about art with her. You will get to see a few paintings made with acryl and oil, some ai altered second life photography, printings and drawings.
