June is a very busy month for us, if you want to know our sets and where to find them, read through!
Important things first!
Tom and I always try to support & raise attention where it’s possible. June is PRIDE MONTH and of course we are into it! During June there are several events (Parties and Pride) happening in Second Life, that support and raise awareness of the LGBTQ+ community. The international LGBT pride day is held on June 28th (acc. to Wikipedia) and its history is based on an Event, happend in June 1969 in New York City, where the police raided a popular club for the LGBTQ+ community and arrested many people involved. The crowd began to riot for five days against the police and support the LGBTQ community – that was the spark that ignited the LGBTQ rights movement in the USA.
In 1999 Bill Clinton declared the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots every June in America as Gay and Lesbian Pride Month. In 2011 Barack Obama expanded the officially recognized Pride Month to include the whole of the LGBT community. And here we are – worldwide celebrating in rainbow colors, showing acceptance, support and raising awareness of the PRIDE community and to LOVE IS LOVE! Tom and I are happy and proud to support this case in some upcoming events this months.

Regular Sets (not just in June!):
After weeks/months of jazz and swing, today Tom is showing you his“darker“ side of music at the Midnight Carbaret.
This evening is full of tracks you might know (e.g. from “The Cure” or “Depeche Mode”) and also tracks that convey this “darker” attitude towards life! I play from the areas of dark/gothic rock, dark wave, synthpop and “light” EBM. If you like, you are welcome to attend this evening dressed in gothic style, but this is not a prerequisite 
.
