A Second Life full SIM installation by Ceekay Ballyhoo
I already told you about CK, she had a lovely exhibtion at LiThO – the tiny art(ist) Café, is an active member and founder of the Corsica South Coaster Mainland Community, a such creative mind and meanwhile she became a good friend of mine. She often had full sim installations, whether it’s a watercolor installation at Hippiestock or a benefit installation at Relay for Life. Now she has created something new, a full sim dedicated to Coffee and those things and people that had a great impact on her.

I made a lot experiences in SL since 15 years. Paused a while and came back. But this actual „period“ of SL is the very best. I made a lot of (important) friendships I wouldn’t miss anymore – not just virtual but impacting my RL as well, discovered the beauty and impact of Art, Landscapes and venues. Able to own and curate spots where to share music and art and support those, that want to show something to others. There are phases, I am quiet and not much around , but that doesnt mean I am not there. My true friends now how to reach me and can count on me if anything needed. So big hugs to my closest friends, thanks for your friendship and advises – love ya! ♥
Coffee-Paintings?
Yes, correct! CK found a way to use coffee in her watercolor paintings! And not event this, she combined this way of art with stories that had huge impact on her Second & Real Life! Some deeply & personal notes are hidden about her, if you read through the notes on her paintings. You should bring a lot of time with you, when you want to explore the SIM and read through all the stories behind the charakter(s) and installation.

Events & Community
CK had a strict plan on the SIM, the different areas are separated from each other but you can walk through all easily.
It’s not only an Art Installation, it’s a community area as well. You can do fishing & playing games, drive through the landscape via scooter and she includes a garden center, where you can buy her lovely watercolor plants.
Also there are planned several events, with Live Musicians and DJs that fill the sim with colorful and impressive music! (I am a little late, some events already happend!) Tom and I are proud to spin some tunes there too, CK asked us to provide a little party under the theme of „Coffee & Pride“ – as June is PRIDE Month as well! CK put so much personal effort and inspiration into this installation, you should not to visit this during June! After that month, it will be all gone and you’ll need to wait for another wonderful watercolor art installation by CK 😉
